Turning flat screenshots into full-blown scares

Drop Dead: The Cabin needed a set of 80s-inspired horror visuals to build hype. With no access to models or engine captures, Soul Assembly sent us a handful of flat screenshots… So we rolled up our sleeves and photoshopped the life (and afterlife) out of them.

key artstore art

We created a hero key art scene featuring the game’s eerie cabin surrounded by zombies, then expanded the aesthetic into a run of retro-style horror posters - the kind you’d find in a video shop window or tacked to a teenager’s bedroom wall in 1987.

We even produced a version composited onto the side of a cabin, lit by a sweeping torch beam, giving the artwork a tangible, in-world feel.

Old-school horror vibes, rebuilt from scraps and made to sing.
