Making a story trailer in-engine while the game was still deep in development came with challenges - but we love a challenge.

With a mix of technical sleight-of-hand and trailer-making magic, we carved out a cinematic story piece worthy of this gory hack ’n’ slash.

Building a finale we could control

Gameplay was still finding its feet, so we picked a fight we knew we could win: making the most badass key-art animation possible.

We tore the PSD apart, rebuilt it in depth, and stitched together a 20-second, in-your-face sequence that pulls back through the artwork as new layers reveal themselves - before everything slams together in one final, gory flex.
